First Boulevard

A Mobile-First Identity

Launched in 2020, First Boulevard set out to build generational wealth through culturally informed financial tools. As the company scaled through rapid funding rounds and product pivots, the brand required an evolution that could keep pace with its ambition. We were tasked with defining a visual identity for a mobile-first startup still discovering its voice—a brand that needed to resonate with the digital intimacy of a user’s palm while commanding the professional authority required by seasoned investors.

Our challenge was to design for speed and flexibility without sacrificing soul. We built a visual language optimized for the screen, ensuring that as the product evolved, the brand remained a stable, confident anchor. This was more than a redesign; it was the creation of a scalable identity system built to move as fast as the technology it represents, providing a clear and sophisticated lens for a community on the rise.

Building First Boulevard’s Community

Condorita Design focused on establishing First Boulevard as a cultural authority by bringing the Money & Sense podcast and their financial education program to life. We recognized that for this community, brand awareness isn't built through transactions, but through shared wisdom and the power of a collective "flock" rising together. The Money & Sense podcast was envisioned as the heartbeat of the brand’s community presence.

The sense of belonging

Moving away from the sterile aesthetics of legacy banking, we developed an identity rooted in warmth and authority. We transformed the Money & Sense podcast into a multi-channel platform for economic sovereignty—a visual home where high-level conversations on wealth feel personal, resonant, and inclusive. Here, design serves as a bridge between financial education and true community belonging.

The Mobile-First Blueprint

To amplify First Boulevard’s mission, Condorita Design unified three vital pillars into a single, cohesive brand ecosystem. We transformed the high-performance mobile app into a digital command center for wealth-building, launched the Money & Sense podcast as a vibrant platform for national dialogue, and designed a comprehensive financial education program to serve as a blueprint for legacy.

First Boulevard
Brand Evolution & Market Transition

The initial brand identity for First Boulevard was created to attract early investors during the startup’s foundational phase. The strategy was successful, helping secure over $5 million in funding and enabling the company to build a robust product team. Community-building efforts followed, including the launch of the Money & Sense podcast and a video-based financial education program featuring Dr. Melody Wright. As the company prepared for public launch, a trademark conflict required a name change. To protect existing brand equity and maintain investor and audience trust, a transitional branding phase was introduced, allowing for a smooth evolution ahead of the app's release to the market.

The Rebranding of First Boulevard

First Boulevard proudly unveiled its bold new identity—First Boulevard became Kinly. This rebranding marked the start of an exciting new chapter, with a refreshed vision and a deeper commitment to innovation.

Alongside the name change, Kinly launched a groundbreaking range of products designed to redefine how people connect, create, and experience the world. These products empowered users, setting a new benchmark for excellence in the industry.

To bring this transformation to life, Kinly partnered with La Condorita Design and Visa for an exceptional video production. Together, they crafted a visually stunning piece that captured the essence of Kinly’s new direction, showcasing the brand’s core values of innovation, creativity, and connection.

Kinly wasn’t just a name change—it was a movement.
